A Message From Rick Riede

“As I look back on a career that has spanned over 57 years,” says Attorney Richard S Riede, “I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have made a difference in the lives of so many valued clients. It has been an honor to serve the Marin community and to have built this relationship with you and others over the years.

Jim is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law, and his qualifications are outstanding. His energy and commitment to our clients’ needs make him and his firm the perfect successors.”

Rick’s law journey started in 1967 after completing his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at Hastings College of Law at the University of California and successfully passing the California bar. He will be officially retiring effective January 1, 2025.

Client Files and Documents

Your confidence in us is paramount. Rick Riede has client files and documents in the offices of Riede & Mason, as well as older files stored in a secure, offsite location. Custody of client files will be transferred to CunninghamLegal starting December 1, 2024. These documents remain the property of the individual client. If you have a file and would like to access to it or wish to collect your file or documents, please call (415) 454-9880, Ext.16 to make arrangements for your file. While we are happy to store your files, we also recognize the importance of having your original documents in hand and would be delighted to arrange for their return.
